J.Sin album Update:
"Pete J Lopez aka J.Sin will be working on his 'Forgive me Father for I am Sin' mixtape after a long debate over his 'geNISis' project and his 'Sinflux Fluenza' album. This discussion has gone on for quite the while with Beano and Nu-A*West's merchandiser, Mr. Nutty1. Finally coming to a conclusion late last night, the three felt the tension loosen. Those that were looking forward to his sampled Phil Collin's 'geNISis' project may feel a little led on, and/or disappointed. However, after hearing the productions and witnessing his mental focus on getting to work, I am in no doubt that this will blow the minds of all who enjoy a beneficial Hip Hop education.
Who are J.Sin's main inspirations/influences? Big Pun and Styles P.
Beano also informed me that they will be releasing some of J.Sin's leaked works from his 'flowetry' poetry album. The title remains withheld, but this information remains uncovered:
...There will be video footage." -A.DeLeon

Junie of WEST Phoenix adds his strength to the team!
****PHOTOS COMING SOON****
Artist Review: Junie - "Last of a Dying Breed."
By A. DeLeon for the *AZ Real as it gets: Consequence of Hip Hop* on Dec. 9th, 2010
"You want pain, heart, and truth all rolled up in one verse? The biography of the Arizona street life has never been told so well. Many artist, such as Tupac and DMX talked about the struggle of others before witnessing it themselves. Junie is an artist from West Side Phoenix that has been through it all. Previously, he was incarcerated in a Florence prison, with only a history of correctional facility visits. Now that he is out, he intends on speaking out about his past to seek out a new future.
He has been an inspiring artist for the underground hip hop scene since he was a young teenager. His words are the autobiography of a dying breed and his inspiration comes from what he has seen and what he has experienced in his life. Losing both a younger and older brother, numerous friends, and a chain of family members to the rough Arizona streets; he prepares to join the Nu Alliance WEST camp to bring the view of a street soldier."
"I'm gonna feel a little awkward because my style is nothing like [these] other artists. I'm so different, but don't get me wrong, I can create whatever. But I will always speak what I know."
Junie said this to me a few nights ago after listening to a few works of the Nu-Alliance WEST team. And none can be argued. He is very different. "Gangster rap" was of the past, but the poetic view points of the streets never dies. It is not the life of a gang member that will be portrayed in his lyrics, but the struggle to survive the ages between teen years to the late twenties. And no one can profess this better then Junie.
"That is what the Alliance West is about! Diversity and a combination of artists and traits to pack that punch that will knock sense back into the music we love!"
"He will not be bound to his testimonial of the streets at all. I don't feel like he won't work sufficiently with everyone else, and I look at this as a whole new genre of sound. There are still listeners who need this type of truth, but unfortunately, the media has caused this music to die out or water down. He will reach the population of people who walk a similar path and I am well aware of his fan base with the city. I can plight on this: Junie's approach will NOT clash on ideas of any other artists with our team. Instead, they will motivate each other to work more universal and diligently. Everyone here has their certain customs, but their style all remains to the truth of an origin. There is no doubt that he lives a different life, but J.Sin has also been through a similar struggle. It is what drives these artist to reach out to the people. It is not about the money, it is not about fame, or how many people we can get to sing along with a song....It's about reaching that one person whose entire life can change because of the words to that song. Will we make bangers n hits? Of course. But will we sell short of ourselves for a chance to be on the radio or TV? Never. As long as I've known Junie, he has always been an MC that can...excuse me, will dominate the spotlight of a track. He's courageous and shows no fear in the face of a different beats or themes. He is an accapella master, a freestyle legend, and a poetic writer. We will no doubt be hypnotized by his words due the very mellow, smoothe-toned sound of his voice. But we will be educated in the process." -Beano
"A whole new era of Hip Hop is beginning before our eyes. The WEST will once again rise up and take back its fans to a higher level of integrity. With beats from King David Productions, lyricist like J.Sin, i-DEE, Mugzi, and J*Flipp resting next to Junie, we are in no way to miss out on an opportunity for the rebirth of realism." -A.DeLeon
