Mugzi

Michael "MUGZI" Diaz
Recording Artist
Glendale, Arizona
Genre: Trap/Rap/Bangers

It is not often that I go into a studio to witness a recording artist that is as live inside the booth as he is on the swagger of his music. Mugzi is by far the most entertaining artist behind a mic that I have ever had the privilege to witness. His music, as well as his style, is the essence in which a 'banger' consists of.

His voice is gruff. His style, hood-conditioned. His mood, placid. As a grimy hook & verse man, he needs no direction when it comes to stylizing the format of a track.

He hails from Glendale, Arizona and started getting into music in his late teen years with a fellow producer by the name of 'Beat Architect' (currently known as the Boogeyman) who was only testing vocals to an instrumental when he discovered Mugzi's diverse sound.

"He is the modern day thug n harmony." - J.Sin

Never picking up a pen, he just follows his animated performance to come up with the right words to perform over his preferred beats. As one of the original members, I can see how he is in no need of a professional engineer to direct his ideas since he was once the host of his own creations. Mugzi places a large donation to the team, and his 'Hookz and Wrapz' mixtape will be the release that gains the crowd of fans that enjoy hood music as well as an upbeat hit. -A.DeLeon
